# DARKEXS — no-installer deployment

No web installer, Composer, npm, migration command or administrator-creation command is required.

1. Extract the ZIP into the cPanel account home directory so `public_html`, `app`, `config`, `database`, `.env` and the private login file are siblings. If using a subdomain, point its document root to the extracted `public_html` folder.
2. Edit the supplied private `.env` with DB_HOST, DB_NAME, DB_USER and DB_PASSWORD. Use the actual cPanel database/user names, including their prefixes. Create the database/user in cPanel first if they do not exist.
3. Import `database/darkexs.sql` (or the matching separate SQL download) into that EMPTY database using phpMyAdmin. Do not also import the migration files.
4. Open the domain. Initial admin credentials are in `ADMIN-LOGIN-PRIVATE.txt`; the login page is `/admin/login.php`. No installation URL or installation key exists.

Keep `.env`, app, config, database, tests, README and ADMIN-LOGIN-PRIVATE.txt OUTSIDE the public web directory. If the cPanel account already hosts another site, use a separate directory and subdomain/document root; do not overwrite an unrelated application.

Hosting requirements: PHP 8.1+, MySQL 8.0, PDO MySQL, mbstring, fileinfo, sessions, Apache 2.4 and HTTPS. The archive contains all application assets and has no Composer/vendor dependencies. SESSION_SECURE=true expects HTTPS.

The initial account is ready after SQL import. Change its password in Admin > Security and enroll 2FA after signing in. Configure packages, payment addresses, logos and company details from the admin panel as needed; these are business settings, not installation steps.

This is the current development checkpoint. No-installer packaging does not mean all roadmap modules are complete. Live provider launch and automatic payment verification remain unimplemented, and native PHP/MySQL deployment verification remains outstanding.

Existing installation: do not import this fresh SQL over real data. The previous checkout code fixes need no new migration. The administrator seed is only for a fresh installation.
